Like Solid said different styles for everyone. I took 1" out of the front and1.75" out of the rear because the wheel gap wasn't to my liking. Once my 35" tires are worn out I'll raise it up again and put 37" tires with a body lift.

I got my tires, rims and I am ready to pull the trigger on the zone 6" lift. I have bilsteins ready to put on the front with the lift but to get it as close to level what is the general consensus 2.8 or 2.1 on the bilsteins? I should say I will be going with the 5” in the back. Lastly should I get UCAs? Do I need them? I can get a good deal on some new Mevotech ones how would they compare to the zone ones? Thanks!
I asked Zone and they said the UCA'S only give you an advantage off roading. Normal driving you don't need them. I have the D41N kit on my 2015.

When I was considering installing just the basic 6" kit I was going with mevotech UCA's. I went with the Zone UCA's when I decided to add the bilsteins on top of the 6" lift and run 37's

I have the Zone D41N 6 inch lift with the 5 inch rear lift also. I contacted Zone to inquire about the UCA's and they told me they only give you an advantage if you're off roading only. Since I myself rarely go offroad, I elected to just keep the stock UCA's on it.

I love how awesome this looks with the factory wheels. It’s got a sporty and beefy stance without the “oh, hey look at me!”.. looks real good man.

Thank you good sir. I was worried that the wheels would stick out too far. I went with 37x12.5x20 bfg's and 1.5" hubcentric wheel spacers. The results were amazing. Just need the bushwacker wheel flares and maybe some wider mud flaps so I don't **** off the drivers behind me. Lol

@Katonaj ,
So you have the 6" Zone with 5" rear coils , 1.5" spacers , stock wheels and 37" × 12.50” tireswith no rub at all ?

Did you install bills up front , if so what setting 2.1 or 2.8 "

As for your question above on what happens to the OEM ucas ball joints on the 13+ Rams .
Mainly the issue is with spacers up front as opposed to the Bilsteins , but the ball joint slowly migrates up and eventually pops out . This typically takes a while and is a slow process that shows itself with audible popping noise . This process is exaggerated by rough offroading and usually a non issue for street use . This is an example of the ball joint starting to migrate up on an OEM UCA .

IMO if you do not offroad often then just keep any eye on them , especially if you start hearing a popping sound up front . If yours start coming up , then just take it easy and order the Zone or Mevotech UCAS . I've had Mevotechs installed for over 30,000 miles with bill at +2.8" with no issues ...and I off-road lots and at times pretty rough .
Hope this helps !

Thanks for the tip on the uca's. I am just running the factory struts up front with the strut spacers Zone gave me in the kit.

I have a loud popping with my front end when I turn, and have the zone 6 front/3 back with adjustable bilstein 5100s. 20x12 on 37s. Its very loud, but mine is an 11. Could it be the ball joint?

It certainly could be the UCA ball joint , just give it a look , if the ball joint looks like this .

Then I'd order up some Mevotech greasable ball joint ucas , if you are partial to Zone products and don't mind paying more for that product then get the Zone UCA's ...

Spacer type lifts are much harder on the UCA ball joints than the Bilsteins , many ,many here have confirmed this .....I'd be removing the zone spacers and installing bilstine set at +2.8" ....

Supposedly they changed the UCA's on the 13? and newer. Some guys have had issues the ball joints popping out of the control arm. So, if you level a newer truck, 2" or more, a lot of guys will replacr the UCA's for added insurance. Believe it has more to do with angles than wear.

I installed a leveling kit on my 2008 ram 1500...upper ball joints wore out in one week. I had to pay $900 for kore double adj upper control arms.

Your ball joint were likely about ready to go anyway...unless you installed a spacer level , which is very hard on any ball joint on any UCA .
I've had my truck leveled for 35k miles with bilstine 5100s no issues and I 4wheel pretty rough ...

Possibly. It was a spacer lift. Took it to get aligned, guy said my upper ball joints are toast. Put new uppers on, had to get it inspected the following month. Said upper ball joints are gone. Truck was only driven on the highway. I replaced the uppers again and sold the truck.
I will never purchase a spacer leveling kit again. It puts the upper control arm at too much of a pitch. Thats what wears them out.
