any how , about there 6" lift , I asked will my rims and tiers witch are 315/70/17 will be ok with there lift, they said they dont know and mostly it will not as something will hit something else I dont remmber realy but I can copy past the email if you guys like:)
so I asked again if I use an wheel adapter will help as am already using now .
also they said they dont know
then I asked if the 4 inch will be ok ?

Great looking truck welcome! You should beable to clear those tires with their 6" lift. Your tires are roughly 34.5" tall. You should have no problem. Aslong your wheels don't have a huge -offset. If to have stock wheel your fine. Hopefully smoothies will chime in too

i don't think its the diameter of the wheels that they were sketchy about. I think it had to do with not knowing the offset/backspacing.

17" wheels are the smallest wheels that will work with a zone kit weither it is their 4/3, 6/3 or 6/5 kit. The tire depending on your offset might require a wheel spacer. I run a zone kit so I know.

Nice truck man! I know the BDS and Zone lifts are very similar and my steering knuckles did push out a little bit further than the stock ones, making them closer to the tires. If you could measure how much room you have now, we'll have a better idea. I think a 1/4" wheel spacer would work fine though.

6/3 lift? wtf?

Yup 6/3 lift. I had that option when I ordered my BDS lift. My truck had a 3 inch stock rake and if I had put that 6/3 lift in, I would have been perfectly level. I got the 6/5 lift and still had a 2" rake...I then leveled my truck with the Bilsteins another 2 inches

We have never tried so I do not know as far as the wheels go.
With the boxes they would be strapped to a pallet and shipped that way.
The weight of all the boxes weigh 265lbs.

Hello Bandar,
1. These two kits will come in 5 boxes and will have to be shipped
Motor/Ocean Freight to get to you.
2. Factory 17's will not go back on because the rim would be hitting the
tie
rod end on the knuckle.
3. We will not have any specials going on for the holidays. You might
check
some of our online retailers.
4. You will have to take your leveling kit off to install our kit. If you
leave it on and something goes wrong with the truck/lift we would not be
able to warranty it because you are getting more than the advertised lift.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

He's saying that your 17x8 wheels will be too close to the truck, causing rubbing on the new suspension parts. He can't give you an answer because he does not know how wide your tires are. You could probably get 1/4" wheel spacers and be ok or buy different wheels with less backspacing/more offset. My 17x8 wheels have 4.5" of backspace and have alot of room inbetween the tires and my lift parts.

"Rake" is how much lower the front end of your truck sits in comparison to the rear. Alot of trucks from the factory have a 3" rake, meaning the front is 3" lower than the rear. If you get a 6" front 5" rear lift, you will still have a 2" rake (2 lower in front). If you get a 6" front 3" rear, it will sit level with no rake. There is nothing wrong with either size of lift, it just depends how you want your truck to look. Does that help?

Thor is correct. The 17" wheel is the smallest that you can run with the lift. I have my stock 20" wheels currently on my zone kit and I added a 1/4' wheel spacer to make sure there was no rub. I think depending on how tall you want your truck and if you want the back to sit higher then the front you should go with the 6/5 lift.

Here is a picture of my 2011 Ram with the zone 6/5 kit installed. Notice the front was lower then the rear.

I did not like the rake look and I did not want the rear to sit lower so I installed bilestine 5100 adjustable shocks and set them to max to raise the front of my truck 8" so it would look level. Here is a picture with the bilestines.

If you want it leveled look without having to spend more on different shocks you might want to go with the 6/3 kit.

Ditto! My BDS was the same as Mad Cow's Zone.

1st picture is 6" front 5" rear (no bilsteins)

2nd picture is 6" front 5" rear (with bilsteins at 2.1" setting)

cool guys thanx for explaining , Thor09 you were very helpfull thank you very much .
I think am going with the 6 front 5 rear , and get me the shocks later on ,
but should I remove my daystar leveling kit , or can I leave the front spacers to level the new kit tell I get the shocks ?
is that a good idea or will it be :chair: stupid ? lool

The front shocks will come with a 1" pre-load spacer. The best bet is remove your level kit and wait till you run the bilstein shocks.
