For those who saw my other thread, i spent the day detailing the truck. It took about 8 hours. I had a hell of a time keeping the swirls out when i buffed it.. most people would never notice them, but on a black truck the trained eye can tell :********:
I clayed (it really needed it with all the painting i have been doing on/near it), buffed with swirl remover and medium/light pad, buffed with finishing pad and compound, then buffed AGAIN with a cheap ass vibrating buffer to get rid of the swirls, then waxed, and buffed wax off.
I think it turned out pretty nice. i still have to give it a good check over tomorrow when the sun is back out.
I had to get the boat out to cool off before it got dark, so you guys get a little bonus in the pics.
