If it's just the rub (and no dents), that stuff comes off with rubbing alcohol and some elbow grease pretty easily.

(I say this because if you file a claim, your insurance rates will likely go up a bit.)

That's not worth filing an insurance claim over. The scuff will rub out and if the little dent bothers you that much take it to a paintless dent repair guy and see what he can do.

Filing a claim is only going to make your insurance go up... and odds are getting this fixed will cost less than your deductible, which has you paying out of pocket anyways.

I agree, if the bumper is not pushed into the body and all you have is a scrape and a little dent, I'd try to DIY it. If you take it to a body shop I bet you'll be in it about $500 + by the time their done.

If I'm seeing it right, it looks like it crinkled the corner there. If that's the case, a paintless dent guy isn't going to be able to do anything for it. If it is indeed just at dent, absolutely find one, my kid swears by his dent guy, who charges $70 to $100 per dent.

I also see the crinkle when I enlarged the pic. I don’t think a pdr guy would be able to fix that. That sux though, I feel your pain every time my wife drives my ****!

Also when it comes time to trade in your truck you will have a car fax report on it so more then likely the dealer will use that to give you less money for it as it has a history. Of course this is if you trade it in.

Should cost much to fix

Same thing happened to me truck has less than 8000 km on it they creased bumper and pushed read end of box in removing paint and creasing metal work, so not a diy job bugs me they didn't even leave any notes or details just drove off. My insurance has deemed it a no fault claim but because no-one stayed around its upto me to pay deductible.
