I was planning to do LTs, but I got a good deal on BBK shorties. I installed my headers yesterday. Sorry I do not have step by step pics, I could not find my camera. Anyway, install was what I expected, a pain at times but overall not to bad. Took about 5 1/2 hours with a few beer breaks.
As far as power gain, I got a little more power off idle, a fair amount more mid range, and a little more on top.
Here are a couple pics, they have a couple heat cycles through them when this was taken, I had to borrow my parents camera. The pics don't look that great because I did not wipe the headers down after I installed them and they were greasy from my hands. Once they got hot, the grease on them smelled and my finger/hand prints are "burnt" on the headers now. Oh well.
