Were you the one trying to mount it behind your grill?

I bought a 32" light bar, 4 led pods and 3 heavy duty wiring Harnesses off Amazon when I was going to put them on my 06. Ended up selling them when I traded the truck in, as I hadn't put them on yet.I'm looking to get a 40-42 inch curved light bar for my front bumper. How many watts is yall's light bar? I'm looking to get one off of eBay. Also I purchased a rocker switch off of amazon and most of the light bars I see on eBay have the one with the switch built in. I don't like that switch. Is there a wire harness yall can recommend that is the right wattage for the light bar and the switch. I just want to do every properly and not screw anything up. When it comes to wiring lights, I'm clueless.
So if these are to tall what other mounts are available or what did u guys use? That's pretty tall. Put a light at the top and I bet it shakes

I think the brackets you have will flex both side to side and for and back at that height with a light bar. It doesn't take very much wiggle to make a light unbearable to use
Mine are made of plate, flat bar, and angle iron. The angle iron works well as it stiffens and supports in all 3 axis. The biggest thing though is to anchor it top and bottom.
