Yes you can see just fine out of the window. The vinyl is perforated.

Well mine just came back from an over 1000 mile run. The average temp was 98 and at several points it was 103 on the dash ( ouch ). To be perfectly honest I didn't think it was going to make it, and I had a" buy a new vehicle while out there" plan in place. It stuttered a couple of times while going up the mountains in the over 100 degree temps, but it arrived and got my family back safe and sound. It's old but she still puts out when needed and for that I am grateful.

Finally got a NIB Recon third brake light. Last one was someone's returned light. I also used that Marine grade weather strip during the install, so hopefully I don't need to worry about leaks.

I'm in the same boat. I want to level (well Bilsteins @ 2.1, for a little rake), and put bigger tires on the stock rims.

I don't need a jacked up truck. I don't off-road anymore in bad places. All it would be for me is a mall crawler. Wish I had a use for it though. Rams look kool all jacked up.

I used a lot of your posts to help me make a decision I am very happy with so I thought I'd join. This place has a real nice feel to it, and I'm loving the "Under $100 Mods" thread!

New mirrors

Scored some tow mirrors off craigslist

The handyman that came to my house yesterday to scrape and eventually paint where he scraped commented on my truck. He was digging it. Digging it even more when I fired it up. He drives an old beat up Chevy truck.
(I'm afraid of heights, so I can't paint the house, otherwise I would. Although, it isn't really much to paint. Cost me 100 bucks for his work yesterday. Coming back on Wednesday to do the painting. Probably another 100/150 bucks.
I've tried to conquer the fear of heights, but it's tough. I get shaky every time I go past a certain point. )
