I went ahead and removed the vinyl. Looks SO much better in my opinion. It should’ve just came like this rather than covered in that cheap vinyl they put on. 00cf2d563f17217a13af045706edeeff.jpg

I don't know about him, but I used sheer muscle...well, that and Goo Gone for the leftover residue! I just did the job last month on my '16 Reb. One door came off in a single piece but the rest came off in sections. Like I said, removing the glue was the hardest part.

I just used my hands. My vinyl was so old and cracking that it didn’t take much for it to tear right off. I didn’t even need to use goo gone, just used a microfiber cloth to wipe away the excess glue. Took me about 30min for each side

Started 3 step paint correction with Adams products. Once I'm done with all the paint correction the best I can get it, I'm going to apply adams ceramic coating this weekend. This is the most time and effort I've put into polishing a vehicle and damn the parts that are done look good. So far all that is done is the tailgate, rear bumper and bed of the truck. As always pics just do show things as well but in person there is a night and day difference between the bed of the truck and the cab/rear doors.

Started washing the truck at 6am this morning. Just got through drying it and started to use my "Polish Angel High Gloss"(special occasions only) and my MF neighbor started to mow his dirt patch--maybe a couple sprouts of grass. Fuggen dirt and dust all over. Put the garage door down and came in the house for some coffee. I swear I'll whip his ass!!!!!!!!!!! Rant done-------

Are you attempting fix the factory orange peel or did you have other issues?

Truck looks great. Are you sporting a Bakflip G2 by chance? If so, how old is it? My truck sits outside and that sucker is fading. Dunno if I can restore the sheen like yours.

People suck. I’ve come to that conclusion. Either ignorant, rude or just plain stupid I haven’t quite figured out wtf is wrong with people. No courtesy anymore and I find people in groceries stores especially Costco they turn into selfish, self centred assholes I’ve ever seen.

My rant done

I had a neighbor like that when I lived in Sealy, he was a retired elderly man about 80yr old with nothing to do. He not only mowed his yard every 3 days but also mowed the house next to mine every 3 days, used to throw up huge clouds of dust and sand, used to **** me off, I had a black truck too.

Ok I'm liking that idea. looks cleaner than the OEM antenna.

How is the reception?

I don’t know about his but mine doesn’t really works well for radio reception. I don’t listen to that anyways. Lol.

Mine is ok. Spotty sometimes. I lost most of the weaker signals, which was really only 1 station. I sometimes flip over to AM radio, and that is much weaker with the bullet antenna.

Most of my music is played through SD card or Bluetooth, so it really didn't matter, anyway.
