Got this in the mail today in response to my Arbitration Hearing next week. FCA’s official response states they designed the heated seated not to work as described in the owners manual and as promised at time of purchase.

I hope I have some common sense 3rd party ppl on my side for my documentation Arbitration Hearing next week...

No i think someone made a mistake because it goes on about how the “customer was informed” blah blah blah. If it arrived at the dealer that day thy wouldnt be talking about that

I was able to finally sit down and read that whole letter from FCA.....wtf?!? @GLucas be sure to tell them that 2018 trucks with ONLY heated seats and wheel are having this issue. I have tested a few 2018 trucks that have both heated and vented seats and they do not shut down after only a few minutes. If that truly was how they were designed to operate then you and I both have defective driver seats then since both of our driver seats seem to stay on the way the owners manual states they should. This is going to be very interesting to hear how your arbitration hearing goes. I really hope you get a competent arbitrator who is willing to listen to your evidence and show FCA that they are jerking us around.

My 2018 2500 has only heated seats and steering wheel and it doesn’t shut down like this. My daughter had the passenger side heat on yesterday for at least 30 minutes until her school bus decided to show up late as usual. I shut it off when I got home.

Here is the latest... there are several docs to look through but it boils down to if you ever go to Arbitration NEVER submit your case early. They will use your information and twist it against you. Then they submit their claim on the final date leaving you with no time to respond to their false account of the situation. Thanks for all your support and commitment guys it has been a source of great encouragement and entertainment at times.

My response in the attached will not be available for Arbitration board to consider. My hope is they are a body of sensible, fair and just people that can see the facts through the BS.
Praying for fair ruling next Tuesday.

Everyone here with heated seats could write in for you as to how they function. From what I've read here and on my 3 Chrysler products, heated seats stay on until switched off. Just let me know and I'm in.

How do we start a petition or vote thing on here? I'd like to start one and have eveyone who has I'd say a 2016 all the way to the new 2019s submit their vote stating whether their heated seats stay on or not.
