I was able to activate it on my '14 1500 which does not have remote start.

These are my settings: (The highlighted bits were my observations from reviewing BCM files, not part of the settings)

Control-VTA Indicator Request: Yes
VTA Warning LED Output Present: Set
VTA System Present: VTA
Automatic VTA Arming: Not set (2014 only)
Vehicle Theft Alarm Present: Not set (2014 & 2015 only)
Sense-Hood Ajar Switch: No
Hood Ajar Switch Input Present: Not set



This is the correct way i just confirmed on a 2015 Ram 2500 6.7 THX

I know I have said this 100 times already but Alfa REALLY needs it's own section to separate all this mess out. Trying to walk individuals through step by step and 10 other people posting about different things all at the same time is just turning this into a frustrating mess.

I'm stumped here!

I'm using the MX Bluetooth & Alfa (windows) on a 2018 1500 but I'm not getting the "Program Custom Features" or the "Car Configuration Change" options in the drop down on the Active Diagnostic tab.

It never asked me for my pin either.. What the heck am I missing??

PS: This is my first attempt at using the MX & Alfa.. I looked thru EVERY setting and couldn't find what I needed..

EDIT: Also have the bypass cable installed.

Ok Im new at this and should have my obd reader today in mail. So I have no other help other than i saw the cable needed for the 2018s. Someone will chime in and help

What are you trying to change? Post 1 look for my name there is a Google drive link with some detailed instructions on some popular changes. You only need your pin if you make changes that require the rf hub

Yes sir! I have all of your great docs downloaded on my windows tablet so that I can access them while I'm out in the truck programming..

I've also reviewed the main Alfa thread, the Alfa getting started guide & many many posts on this thread. I'm an I/T guy but this has me stumped!

CBC Features: Fog lamp dropout enable
Select "No"
-----------------
LED LIGHTS

I have it set up as
Brand: Dodge/Ram
Model: Ram 3500(D2/DD/DR)
Function: Body Computer
ECUs: Body computer: MY2013-17 PowerNet
Once connected I go to Active Diagnostic tab
I choose Car Configuration change from the drop down
Then scroll to:
CBC Features -LED Rear turn lamps present: it was no I changed it to YES
Click start wait for it to complete.
I then go back to the first page and disconnect.

Front Windows with Fob:

Doors: Global Up (not currently working)
Select “yes”
Doors: Global Down
Select “yes”

You only need the pin for certain operations such as remote start rf hub reset or programming Fob’s. Most changes don’t require the pin.

At this point only global down works because that's what dodge had available in previous years.

I'm not familiar with the windows version layout but the steps for everything is the same

That's why I'm stumped, I've gone thru all the guides several times and double checked everything.. I don't know what I'm missing!
