If any of you have tried putting fuel additives into a newer diesel you know my frustration. The first time i did this I think the whole bottle ended up in the parking lot. For those that don't understand, I will try to explain. When you open the fuel door there is a cap, followed by a flap, then there is another flap farther down the neck. When you put the pump into the filler neck it is long enough to open both flaps. Most fuel additive bottles are not. If it doesn't clear the second cap it backs up and comes out onto the ground. I have been carrying a funnel with me, but the problem there is that the funnel is incredibly dirty from being in the bed of my truck. Why do all funnels not come with lids / caps for both ends?
So then i found this:
https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-17252-...with+lid&qid=1570217617&s=automotive&sr=1-158
Anyone have a better solution? Kinda expensive for a funnel.
