I don't believe he did. I think he went with the basics on just getting them functional. It's possible that he may add it in the future but that's a lot of R&D for something that probably the masses won't care about

In that case, I find it ironic that they will sell you the tails with blind spot monitor for an extra $500 over the cost of the non-BSM tails.
He obviously knows what's going on in the forum and probably is offering the blind spot version for those who can afford to buy new. He doesn't have a adapter version with blind spot. He he did release a complete blind spot kit it would be around 2k. That's a lot of money for tails. It's a lot just for 5th gen tails a lone.

200 OuchRetroshop makes these adapters now.
200 Ouch
It’s just using the turn signal circuits from the 7-way trailer plug. Then there’s probably a switchback module so the brake light drops out when the turn signal is used, and resistors for the LED lighting on the new tails. It’s supposed to somehow plug into the trailer wiring. I’m curious to know how that would work.

At $200 for the adapters, you’d still be ahead to just buy AlfaOBD, the MX Bluetooth, and the harness parts to make the harness yourself and program the BCM the way it’s supposed to be.
That's what I'm thinking as well. It seems like $200 is a bit steep for that though I haven't priced out switchback modules but they can't be that expensive.
200$ and no amber for turn signal.Retroshop makes these adapters now.
