I dont want to start a argument here and i think Amsoil and Redline make THE best gear oil available.

But i have to ask Corey, did you notice a difference between the 2? Do you have a preference?

Im considering Amsoil all the time for gear oil.

Sent while firmly grasping my redline lubed RAM [emoji231]
Honestly I saw no difference between the two. I haven't had a chance to test RL gear oil like this but after pulling my camper up the Ike Gauntlet with SG my diff temp was somewhere around 160 according to my infrared thermometer. After that I was sold on SG.

Plus they have those great Easy Packs so I think going forward I'm going with SG...

AFMoulton,

I just went out and did it now. Actually the reservoir is less than I remember. Probably much closer to half quart reservoir. Can’t remember the price of the C+ATF but dang, if 1 quart will do 2 changes it is hard to argue a once a year change.

That's what I've always done on hydraulic power steering. Sucking out the reservoir once a year and use decent ATF prevents a ton of problems. I've had plenty of friends/family that ***** about their PS whining and they always look like a deer in headlights when I ask them the last time they exchanged the fluid on it.

I was being a funny guy :)

I would rather it was not electric, cant wait to see what that cost when it goes out.

Can you still steer when it goes out?

I think we’ve been over this before with Corey and we touched on the belt that is in your power steering system..

I have read a few post and it seems to be real hard to get it to steer when its acting up.

We are going to the store on Monday. I have NO IDEA what the shelves will look like. The store changed their hours for “stocking time” so now it is 8am-10pm. The first hour is for seniors.

We are thinking about going in at 9:30pm for a quick trip. It will be our first time out since the stay home order on the 24th (besides the 1/2 day i worked on Monday)

My wife and son have not left the house since the 13th of march[emoji15]. Taking tis **** seriously.

Well if the seniors hoard all the good stuff, let me or ron know and we can come over and do the senior hour thing. I'm pretty sure we both can pass for seniors :)

So for 3 weeks they have been saying don't wear masks it doesn't help at all. But then they say save all the masks for the health workers. Well if masks don't work why do health care workers need them? Yeah duh, of course masks work. And btw, today the gov't says everyone should be wearing some type of mask when they go out. I went to a couple stores today, well I was about the only dummy not wearing a mask. I'm gonna wash all my carhart bandanas, those are cool because you double them up and they are easy enough to breath through and are very fashionable.

You want to get some people riled up.

Wear an N95 in public.

It works well everyone gives about a 15 foot path. Especially if you throw a fake sputter cough in here and there. [emoji6]

The president said to wear a face cover and said a scarf will help. He even took it is step beyond the truth I believe and said they may even do a better job thank a mask.

ANY face cover will definitely reduce the risk. So will safety glasses or any eye wear. Wash them when you get home.

I wont lie. Im not excited about going to the store. We dont “need” to. But dang we are craving fresh produce.

On another note, this sunny and windy weather should help slow down the virus.

As long as they don't think you're knocking the joint over...
