Ok, here is my situation and in need of HELP from expert folks here.
I have a 2014 ram 1500 big horn. I have front and rear park sensors. Over the weekend, I kept getting "Service" light up on the park sensor screenn for the rear sensor. I went ahead and got a new OEM jumper harness from ram parts department and 4 new sensors from 1aAuto. Everything is working great when in parked or backing up. But as soon as I put it in drive and goes above 8~10 mph, the truck I believe tries and turn off the rear sensors. Immidialty I get a "Service" for park sensor rear. The button would light up and I can't enable it again. But as soon as I put it into reverse, the system comes back on as normal. I put a reader on the OBD and it read B1295-12, B1296-12, B1297-12 and B1298-12 which indicates all 4 sensors has a "PTS (Parktronics) sensor 8 - circuit short to battery. does this mean I have a bad park assist module or does the 4 sensors from 1aAuto isn't compatible with ram system; even though they said it would be? HELP! Driving me insane.

Do you still have the old sensors to try ?
Also I would try four front sensors from the front and place in the rear bumper and see if the problem goes away for the rear park assit

that is a great idea. I thought the front maybe different kind. But let me take the front to the rear and see how they would react.
Hope it’s not the module but we will see.

@skuppy069 you’re advice is right on par. The fronts taken to the back worked. Looks like the 1aauto sensor is not compatible with my 2014 ram 1500! Thanks.
Any advice on getting some oem replacement either used or new that won’t make me broke?

I just got these yesterday. They so far work great. He did not send me the #1EW63RFXAA that he has advertised but sent #1EW63TZZAA. I asked him about it and he said they would work, and they did.

I believe Sherman Robbins was the one who told me about these. Great price for a package of 4.

The price of $45.98 was for 2 packages of 4 sensors.

My truck is a 2018 3500 Diesel.

Got them on eBay

thanks! does your truck come with front sensors as well?

No fronts or rears. I had to build the whole system. Rear is done, working on the building of the front harness now. Still waiting on the bezels.

Do you have the plug at the rear already? If so go back and read his and others post. I would tie into the wires at the I220 plug!!

I will get back to you.

There is a lot to this. Send me a private message and your phone number and we can talk. It might be a lot easier.

View attachment 208780 I sent this to another member to try out . It’s a first go so will see when its installed if there are any suggestions for improvement etc .
It’s about 150 Canadian in parts roughy and about 8 hours of work .
Looks nice and that’s not a bad price for everything needed for front and rear assist.

Yeah lots of crimping ,the jumper harness part takes the most time .
Not sure what it costs if using the oem jumper harnesses and repair kits .
My guess at least double etc .

Would say more than double if you can't find a module with the harnesses connected to them so that you don't have to buy the repair kits. I can't remember which one but one of the repair kits was almost $80 alone.

Wow. Great job Skuppy069!!!!

That is a great price.
Front harness on eBay if you can find it new is about $80 to $90 US dollars.
Rear used is about $50 US dollars.
Then you still have the C-1, C-2, C-3 and the C-can 2 pin connector and all the pins.
I built my front harness, I know what skuppy069 is saying about the labor part.

Yeah it takes a fair bit of time .
If one made the harness themselves they could get the wiring in place for a decent price .
The 150 is the price just for the materials .I Still haven’t decided if i want to make anymore as it’s a lot of work.I’m not even sure what one would sell it for to be help people out but also be some what compensated for the many hours of work .
I think the best thing is to just draw everything up on a schematic so others can attempt it if they Want to attempt the mod .
The thing is one need crimpers and a skill set to do the wiring which i understand not everyone will have based on there career positions etc .
Maybe M2 Mods will offer this in the future which would be awesome as it seems there is a fair bit of interest in this .
