The dealer cannot add any codes to your BCM they can only enable the codes that are already there and available in your trim level. The Alfa tool can actually do much more than the dealer can do.

Unless you want to enable the OEM bed lighting button switch lol.

But maybe Alexi will get that incorporated soon enough.

It is there to enable- CBC Config I/O-bed light switch input present Pin G16

Well I’ll be damned! Glad it’s been added. Was a pain trying to explain to my dealer tech. what exactly I was needing them to do to activate the switch.

Good to know if I ever get around to adding it on my 2018 1500.

Side note: looks like Alexei changed the menus around for enabling the Front Fog Lights... Used to be directly under the car configuration change menu but now you have to go down to the ...

CBC Config I/O - Connector A PIN 01 and Connector D PIN 13: Front Fog Lamps Output Present = YES

M² Mods.

As of now AlfaOBD has not been able to make the current gear show on the dash.
If you really must see what gear the transmission is in you probably want to invest in a transmission tune as I believe they can enable to show on the display.
Seriously what's the fascination of seeing what gear the trans is in?

I am told the older models they could but now it is in the body computer not the trans tune.

Wanted to share what worked for me for those who have added the Mopar auxiliary switch bank and are trying to get the programmable controls for all 5 aux switches to show up in the EVIC. I use the Windows version of AlfaOBD 2.2.1.0.

First I changed the setting under Cust.Set.Menu 1-Auxiliary Switches CSM Present to Switch 1-4 Option then tried Switch 2-5 Option. Both of them enabled programming of switches 1-4 in the EVIC but could not get the 5th switch to show up by only changing that option. Not sure what the difference is between the two options.

Second I changed the setting under CBC Features-Configuration Aux Switches PTO to Five Switches / FIVE Switches with PTO. This enabled the controls for the 5th switch to show up in the EVIC.

To summarize, I am now able to program all 5 aux switches in the EVIC with the configurations set to:
Cust.Set.Menu 1-Auxiliary Switches CSM Present -> Switch 2-5 Option
CBC Features-Configuration Aux Switches PTO -> Five Switches / FIVE Switches with PTO

What all programmable options are available after enabling?

Hey everyone, I have a question about if it’s possible to change the fuel tank capacity? I just ordered a S&B 52 gallon replacement tank for my 2018 ram 2500 and be nice to have the miles to empty feature. Not necessary but what not ask.

Looks like it was answered above sorry

I've upgraded my 2014 to the 7" evic and I have a RA3 which I have the factory NAV activated and I have the same problem.... I have the text but no picture.

Did you ever get it to work? I just ran into this issue with my 14 1500. I put the updated radio in. I got impatient and turned turn by turn in cluster on through alfaobd. Driving me crazy but the new radio was stock with turn by turn. I just turned the feature back off through alfaobd and everything started working as it should again.

I have searched and searched for answers on the issue of text only for turn by turn in the evic display with no animation. I just ran into this issue with my 14 1500. Seems like turning it on through the alfaobd bcm if it is already part of the factory nav actually creates confusion in the head unit.

I changed it on my friend's 2012. Just remember the capacity is in liters.
