dunno if you'll see this but whats the advantage of going through alfa to enable this? if it didn't come with lights from the factory couldn't you get a set on amazon and use a switch or splice in with whichever lights you want them to come on with?

is there an oem harness at the bed that makes it easy and work like factory?

I bought a 2018 Ram 2500 6.4 . I am unable to reset my tire pressure perimeters and really need some help! I purchased the OBD MX plus and downloaded the alpha app to wife’s Android phone. Watched the you tube video and followed the steps several times, keep getting a message. Please help me if you can, my only objective is to reset tires to 60 psi and turn off that darn light!

18+ needs a gateway bypass cable, to make any changes.

As stated already you need the security bypass cable and your pin for the rf hub

New member and I’ve been looking into the AlfaOBD have a question can I use this software on multiple vehicle I’m going to buy it for myself but a friend has been looking for something to just change his tire size so would you be able to edit two vehicle or is it more like a programmer that vin locks with each license

Works on any of the Fiat/Chrysler platforms. You just choose the vehicle and go from there. Using it on multiple vehicles is not a problem.

this may be a dumb question but brand new to alpha just bought it today. am I able to do this with plain power mirrors even if I don't have memory mirrors? 18 2500 tradesman

No, the tilt-in reverse only works with the memory mirrors. I've tried.

Is it possible to make the instrument cluster display the current gear when it wasn’t set on by the factory, if that makes sense? I have the 6 speed, and when i go into manual select mode all i get is the -6+ that shows up but not anything indicating what gear it’s currently in like i see in other 6 speeds of the same model year (2013).

Hi guys,

I’ve tried to read everything about my issue but still struggling.

So, I have sequental turn lamps (led) on front, and the parking lamps (led) turn off when it’s blinking. This ofcourse generates an error with annoying *bling* sound.

I don’t seem to find the correct setting for disabling the dtc for ”missing” front parking lamps.

Any ideas?

Lights are Alpharex, everything coded to leds (that are) and truck is 2020 ram 1500 Classic.

Hey guys , so I finally purchase the alfaobd and I read the last 900 page of this thread .

I have a 2015 sport with projector headlights . I always used hids with a canbus . Now since I purchase Alfaobd I changed in vehicle config 3 - high intensity head light . The hids work but I keep getting a low beam out error message on the dash .

Am I suppose to disable or enable another feature ?

What cluster do you have? 3.5" basic or 7" premium?

Not sure about the 3.5" but on the 7" while using the "manual" selection (+ -) it should show what gear you are in next to the gear selected. If not I know there is a gear displayed option in alphaobd (don't recall off hand if it's in the body Computer or the instrument cluster selection) that should enable it

Alfaobd doesn't always work with alpharex and some aftermarket led's.

After enabling led park and turn signals with alfaobd, verify through your logs that it's enabled, then use each signal for about 20 seconds and the 4 ways for 20 seconds. That sometimes resets the computer. Every once in a while I'll get a turn signal out on my custom alpharex headlights. I'll use whatever signal is "out" for a few seconds then it'll reset

No sure about the 3.5" on any trucks but I do know the 2013 7" cluster does not show the gear you are in. I'm pretty sure it was added in 2014. I have a 13 7" cluster in my 14 and it doesn't show what gear I am in but my buddies does. Both trucks originally came with the 3.5" screen. I'm pretty sure it has more to do with the speedometer than codes. This was also discussed at length in the past when people first started noticing differences in the speedometers. The 2013 will also not show front park assist because it wasn't programmed for it. It wasn't an option until 2014.

Unfortunately no. You can try under body Computer - CBC Config I/0 Usage:Front Driver Door Ajar switch Signal Usage

CBC Config I/0 Usage: Door Ajar Switch Signal Rear Left Usage

Both are lamp diagnosis feeds

Select disabled

Right after I posted. I ended up leaving the led low beam enabled. And also turned on the high intensity discharge and they are working now. Thanks
So I just noticed now when I turn high beams on low beams turn off.

Easy fix. Enable the quad headlights option too. Also disable fog light drop out.

My high beams are lows highs and fogs
