@SitKneelBend I've been meaning to message you a great big thank you for the loudness setting in the UAQ radio module. I smile every time I turn the volume up and the bass thumps. Better than having a sub in an RCSB.

It made a very noticeable difference on the v22.6 firmware. I'm currently running 34.2 Jeep firmware and the audio clarity is even better but the automated loudness setting didn't make nearly as much difference as it does on the older firmware.

For reference, the loudness setting does reset with the firmware to the default of enabled.

I had the dash out of my 2009 to replace the evaporator and heater core so the battery was disconnected for almost two days. When I was at my friend's shop to recharge the A/C earlier today he asked about my headlights and I told him about having to change from duals to quads to make them work properly. But when I hit the high beams, the low beams went out like it did before changing to quads with AlfaOBD. Do the changes I make go away when the battery is disconnected? I'll check later today to see if it's back to duals in the settings.

I reset my lights to quad again. Looks like the update to AlfaOBD made it so you see the setting first and then select the setting you want. They were at "Not Set". Anyway, I then disconnected the battery to replace my steering wheel and clockspring. Once I was done, my headlight setting was still on Quad so that was nice. But what is weird is all my EVIC custom settings were gone and it went back to the defaults. I noticed it when I went for a test drive and all the doors locked. I always turn that off.

Haven't used my OBD in over a year, at that time I had everything working the way I needed I think.
App is updating right now, what new and exciting things have i MISSED or need to look at? 42k on a 2017 1500.

I should probably run an error check and do a log, but I didn't know if it had any other new diagnostics I can run for fun or what???
My evic is the 7" with the black and white lettering and I have a pioneer radio, but other than that....

Hey guys, I am sure this had been brought up quite a few times but my search is not returning what I need. Is there a way to "reset" or "align" the dynamic grid lines? The best I could do was disable and re- enable. But it didn't help. This is the first time my lines have been dramatically off enough to make me not be able to recover and hit the target without pulling forward and trying again. It's quite frustrating.

Splash screen is what appears when you start the truck. Like the ram logo, beats, limited, rebel, etc?

So, I was messing around with the settings and changed the Splash Screen to "lancia". It is now stuck. Won't change back. If I go in and set it to anything else, it either stays Lancia, regardless of most I pick", or will change to "Jeep" or "Automatic" but nothing changes and it goes back to Lancia after a power cycle. Truck config hasn't changed, still set to ram 2500. Thoughts on how I can force this to change? Roll back my changes?

Go change you special packages, then try to change it again

The grid lines based off of the steering angle sensor, if the lines are off it's probably an issue with the steering/sensor.
The lines are there as an approximate path of travel of the truck, they're not going to align up your trailer hitch. If you watch the hitch and ball you'll get in it every time.

Well crap, that makes sense actually (the steering sensor) ive had a few of these trucks and the lines have always been a fast guide that would leave me good and centered enough that I could be on point with very minor corrections. These seem to bee just off centered to the passenger side. And before this happened the camera had been all fuzzy (probably from the car wash) but it snapped out of it pretty quick. Except for the grid line alignment

I've verified I have the IPC function enabled and still nothing. As well this may not be obd related but I can't get my right rear lamp to turn on, I can run a test and it functions as well as using my blinker it functions fine but just my running lights won't turn it on. And finally weirdly my tailgate light telltale and daytime running lights have somehow swapped. So when I turn on my daytime running lights the tailgate illumination indicator turns on and when I turn on the tailgate illuminator the dtrl indicator activates! Any help would be appreciated as I've searched this forum but it's extensive so don't know if I missed anything. Thanks

The IPC settings menu will not appear if it's a 2013 cluster. Are all of the menus missing or just the settings menu?

Just the settings menu is missing. I have the option to adjust the 4 corner options but nothing for the other two gauge options or the settings.

Additional settings that can be set for the truck. Some of the settings are available in the radio but in my case, settings like the compass variance (to make it more accurate) can only be set in the cluster settings menu when enabled (at least in my truck).

Oh, ok,thanks for the info, I'll have to see were it is and see if its enabled or not, I dont have any issues with anything , my truck is a 14 with a 7 inch evic upgrade from a 14..

Okay new to Alfa. I am using the OBDLink MX+. I currently have the demo version downloaded on android phone and it will not allow me to save my log file. If I do it to google drive there is nothing in the log file and if I do the work around as stated in the first post then my phone tells me that there was a download error.
Will the demo not save the body_chrysler_info or am I doing something wrong?
