Have been actively looking for an off road style bumper for my truck for over a year. One of the problems I had was finding something for an 09-12'. Everything i liked was for the 13+. So finally said to hell with it and decided to order one for the newer style front end. While checking ads on Black Friday, I came across a deal I couldnt pass up. Got this Hammerhead Armor low profile pre runner bumper for $1449! Was told there was a 3 week lead time. Well guess what showed up in my driveway yesterday...

Was packaged very well. Finish is solid, looks just like a spray in bedliner coating. Rugged, and built well. I think website says 135#. Shipping weight was #240. I would guess it to be around 150 from lifting it. Took a little over 2 hrs to install by myself. Stock chrome bumper was heavier than o thought. Guessing around 120# So not much additional weight up front. Winches are cool and ****, but ai couldnt justify another 80-100# for somethin I'll never use. Install was straight forward. Instructions were pretty vague, and crappy printed black and white.

And lastly. Everything mounted up just fine without any problems. I just need a 13+ grill which is on order. Hopefully here next week. It is possible that the lower grill clips arent gonna line up, we'll see. Not too worries if thats all i had to deal with. Few quick shots. I will try and get some better ones soon, but its pretty dark by the time Im off work, and i got a housefull for xmas this weekend.

Looks great man. Not a fan of the top hoop, but still badass! Congrats!
Thanks. Was kinda back and forth on the bar. One of the reasons I went with it was more protection. About to dump a bunch of money into headlights, and would hate to have them messed up. Of course, I also don't plan on crashing into ****, but ya never know!

I've always wanted something like that on my 16 EcoDiesel but I've read they interfere with the parking sensors. I'm guessing that since the sensors are embedded in the factory bumper I'm never going to get one of these unless someone knows of a manufacturer that has a sensor install package.

I've heard people with parking sensors having issues with some of the bull bars. But this particular bumper and a few of 5he others have holes for the factory sensors. You just swap them over. My bumper actually came with a kit and all the hardware to do so. However, I don't have the front or rear sensors on my truck.

Looks good

Once it gets finished off with a winch and some cube led fogs it’ll really put it into place

Oh and also what kind of grill are you going to put behind it?

Looks good. Now you need to swap those headlights for the black bezel ones.

No winch. Center cutout is for a 20" lightbar. Cubes and bar to come, haven't decided on set up. Going with a paint matched 2018 sport/limited grill this time.

Grill came in! The bottom clips dont quite line up, so I just used zip ties to secure it. Its nice a snug. Still needs paint and RAM lettering. Will look a lot better once the chrome heads are gone.
