Has anyone added spacers and/or a body lift to an already leveled 1500 with bils all around? Any issues? Pics?

It’s not a good idea at all, but it’s your truck ...

With that statement, there isn't much to be learned. Why is it a bad idea? Besides anecdotal evidence, is there anyone who has actually HAD issues doing this?
Spacers COULD cause issues, but can anyone speak to their personal experience with it? What about a 1.5inch body lift?

I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I needed to document the sources that I used to form my opinion ... Go ahead, do it ...

There are quite a few that have done bils and body lift. It is a personal choice, but spacers on top of bils is not usually a good idea. I believe it caused undo stress on the suspension system.

Bils alone caused my lower ball joints to wear out prematurely. Adding spacers, I would think, would only make it worse.

Yeah, it seems like there MIGHT be issues...and I agree. But does it actually cause issues? My bils haven't caused an issue for me at 2.8.
It sounds like a body lift could be a safe option?

The older Gen 4s were susceptible to ball joint issues, but I believe beyond the 2014 models that was resolved, maybe as old as 2013 had the modified UCA. do a search. there's lots of info.

Bils and a body lift is no problem. What size tires do you want to run? Search the forum I've seen people with bils and a 3in body lift and it looks nice imo

Body lifts are no problems at all on top of Bils, spacers on top existing strut already set a level, will stress the suspension. That’s why you can only set the Bilsteins at the maximum of 2.8 height.
Adding a body lift doesn’t have anything to do with the suspension

I have asked the same question you did in your main post many times, and with the amount of people that have done bils+spacers on stock UCA's I said screw it and I'm going to do it with the added benefit of Ready lift UCA's. They'll be getting installed as soon as it stops raining

Everything should be fine, I just have to go buy a socket big enough for the axle/hub nut as I have to disconnect the CV axle to be able to get the whole strut assembly back into place.
Nice! I’m Thinking it’s going ok since you installing the UCA

I like your temerity Seth, sometimes is the only way to know for sure :) will you travel dirt roads with the truck, is it 4x4?
Since you have volunteered for this test, take a picture of your front diff angle at the moment, and another after the spacer to see if something changes in there, same with your current CV's angles.

Nothing ever gets accomplished without experimenting ;) but yes it's a 4x4 and I travel on dirt and gravel roads daily. Currently I have my Bils maxed out and my UCA balljoint angle is level, and so are my cv's. Here is a picture I took of the UCA balljoint angle how it sits right now.

Taken from this thread - I'm not saying yay or nay,

Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing for 06+ 4wd Ram 1500's

Stacking Leveling Kits

The answer is no! Again, this is one of those things where I don’t care what your buddy told you or what you think… there’s no if, ands or buts. You cannot stack a spacer on top of Bilsteins to get additional front end lift. Typically you do not want to lift your front end any higher than 2.8” without doing a control arm and front diff drop. You will be putting your entire front end out of spec, your control arms and CV shafts will be at ridiculous angles which will be wearing everything out very fast and I doubt any shop will be able to align your front end. If you want that much height you need to start looking into lift kits rather than leveling kits.
