Going to put my headlight build on the Ram tonight. The first attachment with High Intensity Discharge Headlamps Present circled, would be what I would change to make sure the HIDs will work properly with them in the low beams?

The 2nd attachment showing LED High Beam Lamps present needs to change to make sure my Profile Hi-Lens projectors to work properly needs to be activated. (Circled).

I activated my DRLs in Alfa to be set to the high beams, would I need to set LED Dedicated DRL Present to keep my high beam DRLs activated?

Thanks for any help. :)20190703_165716.jpg20190703_165749.jpg

The dedicated drl feed is a separate feed only on truck's that came with factory projectors. So all you need to do is set the drl to high beam.

Hey guys I need some help. I installed a camper shell with third brake light. I have the shell light wired to the correct location (Topper CHMSL) and I can even activate it for a few seconds with Alfaobd.

My problem is, I cant get the "Rear Light Out" message to go away every time I start the truck (after I unplug the cab CHMSL because having that brake light go on with a cap is annoying). I used to just deal with the message, but with Alfaobd I should not have to see it anymore.
If you didn't use the single wire (white/purple) under the truck near your spare tire, you did way more than you needed to.
I have my topper brake light and also a tailgate strip LED running off that wire with no issues, nothing to configure on the truck.

Hey all. New to the thread. Thank you all for the write ups and information sharing. I just started making my first changes to led lights. I have a 2017 but it comes up as a 2016. I know that it technically went into service on December 26th, 2016 per my certified warranty paperwork. Does anyone know if this will cause problems?

No, shouldn't make any difference.

Yup, I used the single white/purple wire by the rear driver side frame. My problems came when I simply unplugged the cab CHMSL.

You run around with the cab brake light on? I hated the red glow at night and it looks silly IMO on trucks with both on, kinda like when someone installed a spoiler on a car and both the spoiler and CHMSL light up.

I can't see the cab brake light when I'm driving, so I don't really care and I don't have any annoying warnings pop up on the EVIC. I'm guessing the rear headrests and the lack of rear window defroster is a major safety issue also...

You might want to try turning the CHMSL LED back to NO(unless your using an LED bulb in there) if your current settings do not turn on the cab brake light when you apply the brakes.

I got it fixed with AlfaOBD, just had to clear the error codes. My current setup is Cab CHMSL turned off, Cab Lights on, Topper CHMSL working, no error codes. I do like that the cab lights come on now as they help light up the front of the bed a bit lol. Another AlfaOBD win!

Update: you can adjust the max speedup to 250kmph from 225kmph but my 2015 didn't respond to the change even though it said it accepted it. It is based on kmph not mph and 250 was the max it would accept.

Silly question but how do I know if my signature works? I never see it when I comment or reply to any posts?

Thanks man I just found it but will probably change it again. Too long really just nice for people to know the 'specs' if your having a problem you need help with that way you don't have to type it out each time.
