She looks mean now sir!Installed 2" hub centric wheel spacers on my Ram today. I'm still a bit off from my pre-Dorian injury, so I recruited my wild redhead. She reluctantly agreed after promising her a bit of the 'ol in-out in-out later this evening.
All spacers torqued and thread-locked as instructed. Tires are OEM size Kumho's.
I'm liking the stance and the look. Really brings out a certain beefiness to my Ram.
Curious myself, why not just swap rim's with a backspace that would give you the offset you want. Then you wouldn't have an extra piece in there to cause issues later. Let me be clear I think it looks 100% better, I've just never heard great things about spacers.
Your reason to do this is what?
No snarkiness intended but what did you accomplish, other than making the track 4" wider? Is it all for looks or does having a wider track provide some other benefit. You're still running the same wheels & tires. It seems to me you have changed the load on the wheel bearings, possibly causing premature failure.
Again, I'm NOT trying to be a wise guy but I learned years ago you shouldn't try to out-engineer the engineers. I'm just playing Devil's advocate here, trying to learn.
Now this is the truth! I like the looks of wheels that stick out a little, but they definitely throw stuff down the side of the vehicle.I agree here.
I see more car washes in the future now too. Most don’t think about all the mud and road grime going on the side of the truck. Even a little puddle is going to mess up a fresh wash.
It is getting a little out of hand. Strut spacers come in a close second, lol!Wheel spacers threads lately seem to be turning into oil discussion threads lol. It looks good.

Truck looks great like that, I have allways thought the wheels were tucked to far under the truck and think putting the sidewall flush with the outside of the fender is a good look.--deleted--
