I went with the 2 1/2 level lift with 34’s on stock rims . I’m limited to 6’ 7” where I park for work . Overall I’m happy with the handling and look .. EB2ECA2A-0C60-4840-A590-384664D2B00F.jpeg

Debating if I should just level my truck with 5100s or make it look nice with 4 inch lift and 35. Sucks cuz I want the tires out a little bit don’t want to buy new rims with offset either. So yes I’m asking how high ur truck with a three or four inch lift is? I know rc has a three bunch bolt on but know it’s basically spacers. I was looking at Eibach cuz I was under impression that themes were adjustable struts like the 5100s.

My challenge on my 2019 3500 Dualy is that I want to increase the rims from the stock 17" to 19.5, but without having the wheels go outside the wheel wells. I prefer a stock look. The 19.5s would give me an addition 2 inches of ground clearance, which is nice. Why they put such small wheels on this truck, I'd like to know, because the 3500 non dualies have 20 inch rims.

My 2013 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi has the Eibach lift ( 3 ft 1 rear). The only problem I had with the lift was the spring sent with the kit only lifted the truck one inch. After an engineer came back (CRam 3.jpg Ram 1.jpg Ram 6.jpg ovid sent them home), I was sent springs for a diesel truck (600 lb rate). Came with front and rear springs and shocks. I have 35x12.5x20 on -18mm offset rims. No carving or trimming of anything. No rubbing.
So many options out there. Do your research.
Love the ride and handles the off road with no issues.
Several friends have Rough Country and the system rides like its name.

Why??? Why spend thousands to make your truck look “badass”?? and impress who? Laugh my ass off seeing someone drive by with a parking lot princess that they throw their back out climbing into. Truth be told DOT is coming down on these types of “mods”. It creates a stability issue for the vehicle and a huge safety issue for the person you run into or who runs into you. You want a taller truck buy a 2500 or bigger, instead of making your 1500 into something it is not. In addition the drive train is not designed to withstand the added load due to the bigger tires. 1500’s are NOT heavy duty anything. They are glorified grocery getters and soccer mom vehicles.

Hi. Good timing. I just got a quote of $5000 to lift my truck 6”. This doesn’t include new tires and rims. Another $5000? Yikes.
Sound about right?

You can do it cheaper but if you want a BDS coilover or the other brand I can't think of. Yeh 5k installed would be about right.
The best ain't cheap. A spacer lift will be much less but your sacrificing your ride.
I have the 6 inch BDS and I wish I went a little higher honestly.

I was quoted about the same originally for a BDS system, but after doing some research I went with the Zone 6" with Fox Shocks for much less. I have been rolling for only about 2000 miles since completion thanks to covid but no issues yet. It is sitting on 35x12.5x20's. It was just under 7k for the lift, wheels & tires (most expensive part, but I wanted different looking wheels), winch and front bumper install (already bought the bumper during a 50% off sale).

You guys defiantly have some good looking trucks! I greatly appreciate all your guys posts and knowledge. I defiantly get a lot of helpful information on this forum.

I can't speak for everyone with a lifted 1500, but for me, it is definitely NOT about "looking badass", or trying to impress anyone.
My 1500 meets my towing and cargo needs, with capacity to spare. However, there are times during the winter, where a stock 1500 would not be able to make it out of my drive. The extra ground clearance gained from my lift and larger tires is a necessity.
Sure, I could have bought a 2500 just for the added height, BUT, when I was shopping, any comparable 2500 was between $8K to $10K more than my 1500. I couldn't justify that much extra $$$ when all I needed was a little more ground clearance.

and what if it is to look badass? why can't that be ok? My truck doesn't see waist high snow drifts, or muddy canyons and river beds. If it does, it could handle it, but for me, I love a nice looking truck that catches some glances as it goes by. Nothing wrong with that. AND I don't break my back getting in it.

I hope this isn't too insulting to you, but I just got these in the mail today to add one more customization to my truck, because, well... its MY truck.

4" Mopar lift. 35x11.5x20 on Sport Factory wheels.
Lift and tires installed by a Ram dealer. I also have an email from FCA stating it will not affect my Lifetime Maxcare in anyway.

If the lift came from Mopar, installed by a FCA dealership and FCA confirmed it will not void my Lifetme Maxcare then that's good enough for me.

As others have stated I don't have a need for a 2500 though i have ran into several occasions on back roads where I was glad I had the lift and tires.

Plus I am to cheap. :)

5100s set to the highest setting so front sits a bit higher than the rear.
I'm going to have them set to the middle setting.
From what I've seen on this forum that will give me a 1" rake to the front rather than a 1" to the back which I have now.
