The 6.1 in a quad cab IMO is a bad idea. Its a high reving cam that would work alright with a reg cab, but with a heavy quad, I'd look into a comp260. And yes that will start dropping your times quite a bit, by how much I do not know, have to ask some of the guys with it in there.

Do these times look good? With tuner, Cai, and a flowmaster exhaust? And with bald ass tires my takeoff has a 20-30 ft burnout...... Maybe new tread will bring the times down?

Incredible 2 on the move!

Did you put the power wire in yet?
I pulled a 7.51 0-60. Without the cutout, But with a cai afe, e=co tune, and flowmaster 50. I do run bigger tires now, before with stock treaders I ran a 7.10. But I think one mod offset the other in my case. Where I live ya gotta go out at 3,a.m. too get a decent 1/4 mile time. Some po-po's just don't understand.lol.

I've been working a lot lately and haven't had time to install the power wire yet but its on the to do list lol, I've got an old paved road in the woods that cops don't patrol.... Sometimes fish and wildlife services do but they know we all need to see true power unleashed lol

Robb do you have a 4x4? With 6.1 AC version cam shifting at 6400 (Superchips) I managed a 6.58. best with 3.55s.

Only asked because 4wd you can launch real hard no spin.

Cost, well that depends on supporting stuff like a new damper to handle the xtra RPM, etc.
The Cams are cheap enough but in an 04-05 (no idle issues) your better saving money up for a 260 Cam or equivalent. You could do it yourself I'd say for about 3-400 (6.1). For me I was a newbie and had fun playing around with it. Actually gonna throw my 6.1 into my Magnum RT for ***** and Giggles this winter!

No , Sorry mean't 03's (Don't Like the 260) and Idle cannot be adjusted (There is one way Though recently, fellow from Virginia did it!). From what I heard 05's are the best overall 3rd Gen to Mod, so Congrats on a great Start!

Ok awesome! Thanks man! Just recently with my a/c off my idle has been loping from 500.rpm to 700..... I redownloaded the tune on my programmer and it still does it..... Got any ideas of wat could be causing the loping with the a/c off?

I heard talk about that before but it was with the A/C on I beleive in the 03's running the 260 but in winter i don't think one would survive. Wait maybe Ryan can answer that one. Try putting the heater on and see where you are at (even in the Florida Hot).

PCM Reset!
