I use 93 octane, and when I used the 93 tune I found that I still had excessive knock. So I loaded the lesser tune and could run WOT with minimum or no knock. If you had a gauge to monitor the knock you could learn to drive around the knock. But as stated it is best to just keep you tune under the octane being used. Good luck. There is a AeroForce gauge in the for sale section.

Nice all.

No cam power due to leaving it in D. Few hundred lbs of Dog dry food in the back.

Now that's how they are suppose to run! Very nice Daniel.....

Nice run but man something about those shifts just doesn't look right. Almost like its winding up way to fast or something

Def' not the cam LOL.
That was on my Toyo street tires before i went DR's full time. Thought i try to throttle it since there was some added weight in the bed.
2800 TC/4.88's/28" tires.

Here is another one where i slowly went into throttle in 1-2.

SC3815/SCT stacked w/ 7k limiter (Good ole Sean). Due to high (low) gears and tires my 1-2 shift has a 300-400 rpm delay (B&M floorshifter) from when i shift to when it actually shifts so there are times when it bounces off the limiter.

I am not agressive enough to shift that high which is why i am changing it up.

That one looked better, that first one though you were up in the 6500rpm range before it shifted 1-2 and you were only doing 40mph, and then again 2-3 and your were still under 60mph. My 1-2 shifts at 6200 and I am already up to 55mph or so and by the 2-3 shift I am around 70 or so.

First vid was full pedal down in D so its limited to 6100-6200 SC3815 shift limits. Traction issue there.

2nd video is me manually shifting which allowes the SCT 7K shifts. I was at half throttle in 1-2 then went WOT after it went to 2nd.

Also the 4.88's is about 200rpm or so higher than 4.56's. Not taking in the low profile tires. RPM cruise at 70 is around 2600rpm :p

Hmmm I was watching it from my phone and it looked like it shifted higher in the first one than 6200. The speed at that rpm and shift point is what gets me still you should be up higher in the mph range there

Get my hopes up. Gotta check with GPS to make sure the speed is right. Be nice it was 10mph lower than it should :p.

Another thing is the severe lack of low end of the cam. TQ is lower than 5.7 cam to 3k and MUCH lower than your 268 all the way to 5500k. That also hurts the 2800 stall as it really needs a 3400+

Anyway this time next week should provide a different experience.
