Just solved the problem of my Cruise control would light on however not set/hold speed and about the same time the climate controls would not "Control" the AC. AC worked but blew the dash.
These were related and appeared after replacing the lift pump. The problem was a Vacuum line came loose from it's port under/near the injector pump. These vacuum lines run from the firewall above the hydroboost/brake down to under the injector pump. See pictures. Plugging in solved issue.
