So we have had this 07 hemi qc for some time now that we got used. Its my son's truck now so we lowered it and dumped the exhaust before the axle. Cut off the tail pipe resonator off. Still have the first one. I always thought it had a flowmaster installed but after looking at it closely it appears to be a flowmaster knock off. (40 series by the size) it also is 2 3/4" instead of the 3". Few questions:
1. Is being 2 3/4" instead 3" do anything as far as performance or sound?
2. The exhaust is planned to stay dumped before the axle, would magnaflow or flowmaster be better for drone?
3. What size muffler would be a happy medium for drone?
