Well rolled 100k. Got in today to take my daughter home another check engine light was on. Had p0700 and two low voltage codes. Could the low voltage have caused the tcm code? Trucks running fine

Tyler, I just did some Google work. From what I read, it sounds like the low voltage in fact can be a cause. Need to find out what caused the low voltage codes now.

When I broke my oil temperature sensor it was telling me I had a high voltage. So I'm guessing if it's high or low it could very possibly be a bad sensor.

i googled too and didn't see the voltage cause, thanks dan! replacing a battery or alternator is a lot better than having tranny issues. hell, i'm an expert at alternators as many times as i had to change em on my damn exploder.

Check the alt with a multimeter to see the feed back. Could also be a loose ground acting up.

bad terminal connection , check wires on back of alternator , check battery, check alternator , and look for splits in battery cable if none of them work its a bad sensor

tested the battery and alt tonight with meter. battery was at 13.06ish volts, alt was at 14.7ish and 14.5ish with the fan on at idle. i know the battery is only suppose to be at 12.5ish but aren't there capacitors that could hold voltage? least thats what my dad was thinking.
