I'm looking into seeing if I can put a premium instrument cluster in 2012 and below. Can anyone who has a 2013/14 look at the instrument cluster plug and confirm if is similar to this:

I wish somebody had a sure fire way to update the cluster mileage. I'd buy the cluster for my 14 in a heartbeat.

Agreed. I've heard if you get a brand new one from the dealer they can flash your mileage. I may just pay up and do that.

That's what I'm gonna call them about. I really want that cluster back. My 13 had one, miss it.

Very cool. One of the main reasons I went with the Longhorn model was that I liked the cluster so much better than the Sport. Had I known this was so easy, I mighta gotten the Sport instead.

It is impossible to remove miles from a cluster without reverse engineering the cluster itself, but if you want to add miles really quickly you should look into modifying the speed sensors values on the CAN C bus to accumulate large amount of miles quickly.

I picked up another that I found.... if anyone is looking for one with 27k miles I will be listing it later this week after I plug it in and take pics.

If you are close to 27k miles you just wait for it to match then plug it in.

Send me a PM if interested.

Looks like this one

Sorry Outlaw. Won't do it again. At least I don't think so.

Ok guys here's the lowdown. Hated the plain Jane cluster I had. Nabbed a longorn premium cluster and installed it. 100% plug n play. All functions work as intended.

Mileage remains in the cluster though so ya need to be close in mileage.

Did I mention DIRECT PLUG N PLAY SWAP?!?!

SO... you mean if I find a Laramie cluster out of 13+ I can directly bolt it in my 2014 ram express and every single function will work? if you say yes :roflsquared: ?? how do you take the cluster out??

Forgot to get a pic of just the plug, but here it is zoomed in from a different pic. Looks pretty similar. 10 across, two rows
