I bought the map update to the Uconnect Nav system in my 14 Laramie Limited. But in trying to use their USB update drive, I cannot get the USB data port to access the update. I plugged a USB device in to see if there was a power issue and it did not light up, maybe indicating that the port is not powered or connected at this time.
I have used this port before without issue but after checking a bunch of possible fuses, I cannot find out how to troubleshoot this issue. Any ideas?

Yes- I'm using the Data port in the console under the SD card, not the charging port with the cover on it to the right...it is working properly.
Yes- I allowed it to sit for a half an hour with no access indicated.

Have you tried another thumb drive with the update on it?

I haven't...but that is an idea to try.
The Map Company said I can send the update back to them and they will send out a new one to see if the USB device is broken. I'll try that an let you know!

Well, that did not work either. It's like there is no power to the USB so it has to be either a fuse I haven't found or power somewhere.

It might be a bad connection then.
