I have seen a few similar threads on here, but none with the exact issue I am having. The cruise control button works and cruise control engages, but turns off after about 3 seconds. The scroll up button works, but the scroll down and left/right buttons don't work. I cannot view anything other than the menu on the screen. Clock spring has been replaced. Still nothing. Please advise.

Big shot in the dark, but try giving the buttons a swift “click” or two with a finger before using them.

Several years ago my cruise button would stop working periodically and every time i clicked it, it started working again.

All the steering wheel controls go through the right switch assembly. It's converted to LIN, then goes to the clock spring, where it is again converted to CANBUS, then sent to the BCM.
