Hello everyone, I am new here.
In 2000 & 2001 1500 rear axles have a flange where the drive shaft bolts on.
If you have a 1997 rear axle can you use it and replace the yoke with the flange?

Thanks!!

In short, no.

A yoke is basically a flange with a splined shaft off the back. If you pull the yoke out (guessing that its one assembly) you wont have anything to bolt the flange to. I dont know what that part is called that the flange bolts to.

You would have to get both the flange and the part the flange bolts to in order to replace the yoke.

If you add another part on top of the flange, then yes, you can replace the yoke with a flanged setup.
