2011 Laramie seats into my 2007 SLT

I wanted a more comfortable ride but wanted to stay with my 3rd Gen. I found some Laramie seats on craigs list. The install was fun. Lots of wiring to make them plug and play. I was not able to use the factory heater pads so I installed after market ones. I was woried that these would affect my cooling in the seats but there is still plenty of air flow. I had to do a custom bracket to get the back seats to mount but the fronts went right in. Its a new truck. I love it.

Those seats look awesome!! One random question. What kit did you use for installing that radio? I’ve been looking at Metra kits but can’t quite find the right one. I’m planning on putting in this radio.

I got my stereo from crutchfield so there website told me what kit to use. I had to trim the plastic to get it to fit but it was a straight forward install.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response! This is going to be my next install in the next couple weeks. Just got my truck a couple days ago but we have lots of kids in the neighborhood and I’d love to not back over any of them.
