I have a 2011 dodge ram 1500 5.7 with P000B code being tripped. Says the camshaft selonoid. Not happy that the intake has to come off for this job for what it is. But that is how it goes sometimes. Any advice on this project, has anyone done this?????

So are there 2 of these (camshaft timing celinoids, oil control valve) I heard this part being called 3 different names. I thought they are located under the valve covers. and there is one for each bank. but looks like there is only one and the valve covers don't have to be removed.

I have been sent this vid twice. It doesn't tell me if there is one or two of these oil control valves. I will see my parts guy tomorrow. he should be able to the drawings.

There is one under the intake. That is the oil control valve. There is only one.

The one in the second video above is about camshaft timing. It's accessable from outside the engine. It's a camshaft position sensor
