2012 Ram Express

Hello, I am Pete. I just purchased a 2012 dodge ram express. Regular cab,short bed. Learning of diff. in the St vrs the SLT I traded in. I got rid of the stupid open tray and ordered the upper glove box assy and installed. Now , Is the truck wired that I can change from the std black mirrors to the SLT mirrors with turn signals and puddle lights and what is involved. thanks in advance Pete

It should be a straight swap. THe plugs are on the inside of the door. Unless with the express they changed the door configuration. I know people swap mirrors all the time

Changing from non-signal mirrors to signal mirrors can't be done, at least not without a flash from the dealer (and even with that I still don't think I've ever heard of someone having success with this route). You can always swap the mirrors, but you won't have the full functionality (it will be for looks only).
