2013 1500 with power mirrors wont auto fold

i have tried alfa obd,foxwell scanner and uconnect but there is no option for autofold anywere,anyone tell me how to enable if there is no option

Starting without any context to go with your question, i'll mostly be guessing.




So, they just stopped working one day and you have no error codes? Open them up and check the motor, connectors and inspect for any broken or damaged parts. Typically I would expect a code from the door control module.
Mine get a little crusty after years of rain and dust. Sometimes one, or the other stops working and i have to open it up and clean out the dirt. A little grease goes a long way toward getting them working again.

Or, you installed a set that you purchased somewhere and are trying to activate them in the BCM? If that is the case, you need to connect to your trucks BCM with AlfaOBD, then go to "car configuration change", and select the following option:

First, connect to the BCM (Body Computer):




The select "Car Configuration Change" and "Doors-Power Folding Mirrors Present".







You'll probably also want to activate any other options that your mirrors have, like heat, turn signals, etc.

I was under the impression that power fold wasn’t a thing until the 2016 model year.

If you are wanting the mirrors to fold in by themselves when you park the truck there is no option for that. You can get it to do so using a Tazer Ram module.

I was under the impression that power fold wasn’t a thing until the 2016 model year.

Power fold mirrors have been around since at least the 2013 model year, but there has not been an option for them to fold themselves when the vehicle is parked. Also power fold towing mirrors were not a factory option on the 1500s
