2013 2500 BW 44-46 parts

2013 2500 SLT, 5.7 hemi, bw 44-46 transfer case.


I use my 4 wheel drive almost daily. I live off grid in mountain terrain. I have started hearing a banging sound from transfer case when pulling uphill(90% of my 4×4 use). Started out occasionally now its non stop. No leaking, no overheating, amd no loss of power. It just sounds really bad and im sure that eventually the transfer case going to grenade and then ill really up the creek.Im guessing it is the chain slipping. I have looked and looked and cannot find replacement chain and gears.

I am confident I can perform the repair myself if I can get the parts. Any insight on where to get these parts? Or even a reputable seller of reman transfer cases?

Any help is wildly appreciated.

It's likely the chain jumping. Very Easy fix for someone mechanically inclined. If you can take the t case out yourself you've already won the battle of replacing parts inside because that's the easiest part

Yes that is definitely the noise

Ok give me a bit ill check my tranny sources and see if they sell rebuilds for t cases. But honestly you probly just need a chain.

So motive gear has a chain listed in their catalogue but I'm not seeing any master rebuild kits listed. This is the motive gear partnumber listed: Mg10-064
