So last month the wife and I traded in our 2016 Ford Fusion 2.0 Ecoboost for a new 2018 Ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 with 3.21 rear end and 5.7 Hemi. The price was too good to pass up! We put 275/65r20 toyos which is about 34' one two weeks ago and have yet to calibrate the speedo and no mods. We have 2013 1500 crew cab with 3.92 rear end and 6 speed tranny with the 5.7 and 35's(305/70r18) with diablo 91 tune , S&B CAI and Gibson dual exhaust. The 2013 has about 105k miles on it and the fluids changed at 60k with diff(amsoil) and tranny(mopar), and transfer case(mopar). Along with the spark plug(mopar) at 70k. So what I am trying to get at is the 2013 feels underpower compared to the 18. I think after the 35's wear out I am going to step down a tire size and go with 295/70r18 to get some power back. I just can't believe how much the difference 8 speed makes in the 18. Yea so the 2013 feels like a overweight hog hahah. Has anyone felt this? Or is something wrong with the 2013?
