2013 Dodge Ram 1500 gear question!

Hello!

Got a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 2x4 sitting on 36x15.50x20 Mickey Thompson MTZ's and 20x12 (-44 offset) Fuel Throttle Off-Road and I am still using my stock gear. I was told by my mechanic that a gear for my car has not yet been released that i would have to take it to a machine shop.

Does anyone know if this is true or not? and if not do you know where i can purchase a gear for my truck?

I know that in another thread that i had posted someone told me that the largest gear for my truck was a 4.56 but i never asked where it was that i could purchase it. If any one knows that would be a great help!!!

First off, the truck looks mean.

There is not an aftermarket gear available for your truck that is a direct bolt on. The highest you can go without machining your carrier is the factory 4.10 gear that comes in the RT trucks. If you want to go higher than 4.10, then I would get in touch with fasthemiram12 as he can set you up with a new factory limited slip unit that is already machined and ready to accept the aftermarket 4.56's.
