Got a 2013 ram 1500. It had the premium cluster. I swapped the premium cluster into my 2014 and swapped the 2014 3.5 dash to the 2013. Is it possible that the 2014 cluster won’t read the 2013 TPMs system. I am aware that the 2013 and 2014 have a dofferent TPMs system. The premium one works in my 14. but the 14 cluster isn’t showing tire info on the 2013.
When I connect a scan tool to the TPMs computer it shows no faults and it shows the TPMs sensors are connected and displaying the proper pressures.
I can’t confirm the premium eVic displayed tire pressures as I replaced the sensors after the dash was switched. Any input appreciated. Thanks!

Tire control computer shows no faults. Cluster shows u0127 lost communication with tire pressure module.

So at this point it seems the cluster is trying to communicate with the 2014 tpm system and not the 2014. Anyone have a fix?

I've seen quite a few threads here over the years with this issue. Usually when someone tries to upgrade a 2013, 3" evic to the premium cluster, with a eBay unit out of a 14+ truck.

I think most have ended up getting a 2013 cluster in order to get the TPMS to show the pressures.

I haven't yet heard of anyone figuring out how to get a 2014+ cluster to show the correct TPMS data in a 2013 truck.

Thanks I appreciate the reply! The only issue I have is, I checked the log history on the premium original cluster. Sure enough, it had the u0127 code present as well. Anyone have any wiring diagrams for the cluster or C can bus system!?

As Ken mentioned, You need to get a 2013 cluster for the tpms to work. The tpms module is a separate module near the left front foglight and not part of the rf hub like 14+ trucks.
