Do you remember which color wires you tapped into on the factory sub plug?

I used all 4 wires that were connected to the factory sub.

Sub Ch1
(+) Grey/Brown
(-) Dark Green/Brown

Sub Ch2
(+) Grey/White
(-) Dark Green/White

My amp accepted high level input signals so I did not need a LOC.

Was there a residual resin smell from making the glass mold?

Always is, but it will dissipate over time and only put one layer down let it dry, then do the rest outside of the vehicle.

I did my boxes a little over a month ago and there is no smell left. I couldn't smell any residue after a week.

It's a fun project. Do your self a favor and cut all your mat into manageable squares before you get started. This way once you start you won't have to stop and change gloves so often.

I think I'm gonna do a box like these with some shape lol.

Just found this thread and appreciate the write up. I'm thinking of adding a single 10 to my 2013 1500 Laramie with the Alpine system so a lot of this should be applicable. Anyone use the Fox box enclosure? I'm not crazy about their amp mount on the box but the rest of it I like.
