I noticed that my filter is tiny. Can you still use the Mopar 899 or do you have to use the tiny filter?

Anyone else change your oil in a 2014 with a Mopar filter?

I have read here as well as other forums about 2014 5.7L owners switching to the larger Filters with NO issues.
I have not done my first oil change yet. It's a tight fit up in there. I'm sure I will switch to the larger filter.

I asked this same question about a month ago within this same forum.

I run the larger (09-11) filter on my '13 5.7 w/o issue.
I couldn't fit it on Dad's 6.4 though.
