Has anyone stuffed dampening material under the switches in the doors to stop small rattles?

Buy some closed cell foam, self sticking and worked great. Rattle actually comes from the area just above the switch where you have that brushed looking detail on door. I put 2 pieces of closed cell foam on top of each other, puts pressure in that area and stops rattle. I already had butyl sound deadened door and closed cell foam finally worked. Closed cell foam is kind of like thicker self stick scuba type material. I bought about 8(about 8x14 inch) pieces off ali express for like $8 shipped for all. Here is what it looks like, got picture from ali express, amazon etc has it too, just a lot more expensive.

I don't know that it's year specific. My 11 has never had any rattles up to now, but my 17 had a ton of them in the doors seemingly everywhere, roof from the sunroof shade rails and the c pillars around the seatbelt mounts were the biggest culprits and as I continued sound proofing to get rid of them I kept finding more. It's really quiet now, but it was a lot of work and a small fortune.

I don't know if makes difference, but my 2013 with alpine system rattled a lot in door panel. Originally I thought was switches and was the area just above switches. If you remove door panel(takes 5 minutes) they are plastic with some areas with other plastic pieces that are attached behind, think that is why pressure is needed.
