I’m glad there weren’t any issues getting it to work with your topper.

Zero issues with the softoper. I couldnt move the tailgate one single bit though so i simply used the grinder and made 3 little cuts on the lip of the tailgate at the very top, about 2" or so, and hammered them down to create the space i needed. Only me will know or the judges at a car show, and she aint a show queen

I'll have to contact ICI on Monday if i don't get this weekend, and i haven't seen any notification with shipment yet other than the initial one they sent couple of weeks ago when they said they had started working on the bumper.

Found this flying saucer in Amazon and thought i could use in the spare as my new 3rd brake light , it's for a Jeep JK/TJ but for $30 should fit or will make it fit what that heck.

And on the driver rear side this little wire here is the hot one for the 3rd brake light. Found it by chance as i went down there to see where i was going to tap for power when the brakes were on, and i swear i thought to myself what if this wire was hot, so i asked my son to step on the brakes while i probed the spot with my meter and voila... ******** 3rd brake light wire on demand

Decided to go for install today, Couldn't finish because it started raining and also because i was testing whether or not i could have the tow hooks in place. Ended up cutting a portion of the tow hooks just to fit them in what that heck. I'll know more tomorrow if i get some time to finish this up.

The bumper weight is 82lbs

I don't know yet if i'm going to like the hooks protruding that much. But i'll have a better idea tomorrow from different angles.

Dude! I did the same damn thing today! Cali rain. Gotta love it.

I started my install, and about 45min into it, it started raining. Those damn side brackets for the filler panels are a *****!

I pulled the nose in my garage (which is a gym...which means vehicles are mostly off limits) and finished!

I have the regular 1500 hooks, but I bought some rebel closed hooks too, thinking they would be way cooler. Unfortunately, they stick out another inch and look a little awkward...

I put one on each side but couldn't decide. I figured the approach angle was better with the regular ones so I used those.


I wanna see how short you cut your fender liners. I was kinda impatient and hacked mine up high.

Excited to see the finished product!

Nice job guys! I’d run the oem tow hooks, everything being black on black you won’t even notice them after a while. I’d like to find me a set of those headlight filler covers and ditch my upper fascia then redo my front bumper so it sits up a bit higher like the ICI’s do. Really impressed on how they matched their bends to the contour of the truck and how tucked everything is.

Had to mod the tow hooks slightly more so the the skid plate could fit nicely. Took me a while to figure how to place the damn fillers, @bruiserRAM you were not kidding when you said they were a litlle pita to fit in

Yes i put this one up for the time being but with the thought i need a curved one perhaps a tad biggger too. i'll be checking Amazon tonight and see what's available.
