I keep receiving these emails from Unconnect offering a discount of $175 to add navigation to my factory radio. I can't believe they want $420 after the discount just to add navigation to my truck. I might consider it if they were offering it to me for $175 but I don't think I'd ever add it for what they are asking for it. I was just wondering if anyone on here has added it and do you think it was worth it? I know most people use their phones for GPS and I do too but it would be nice to hear the turn by turn guidance through my speakers even when I'm listening to the radio like it used to before the apps stopped doing that.

The OEM navigation in the 8.4 isn't worth spending money on if yours doesn't have it already. You can probably buy a used OEM radio (8.4AN) with navigation for about/less than $400.
If you really want navigation in the radio, upgrade to a + '18 model year 8.4 that supports AndroidAuto/CarPlay. It's a bunch more $$$ but you get up to date maps with real time traffic data.
