2014 Ram Qc 4x4 Dyno run w/ video

Had my truck on a dyno today for the first time. Heres a vid. Will post the chart and numbers in a bit. Anyone know if running a shop fan will make a difference or not? For some reason these guys decided to drop it right before i went on.

Mods on the truck are simple. Vararam. Diablo intunes w/ 89 oct hemifever tune. And borla catbacks.

I wish the generators wernt against the wall. Bounced alot of noise around and took away from the WOT run.

I tried taking a picture of the graph amd numbers. Didnt turn out too good. Gonna have to use my good camera later. That vid was the first run. Pulled 317hp and 317tq. Second run was 296 max and 367 tq. And it was the 6 speed tranny. Another guy had a 14 RT with the 8 speed and some bolt ons i dont know what they where but he ran 330max and 350ish tq. I didnt watch that run. Just number recieved through text.

Yea, the 390 and 395hp ratings are measured at the crank which is standard of all auto manufactures.

No 2 pulls will be identical, best bet is to pull 3-5 times and average, truck could of started getting warm.. Plus the vvt and Ecu could of changed something's around. Lots of variables.

I only got the 2 pulls in. Was part of a side show at a local car meet. 70 bucks for 2 pulls. The guys running it seemed kinda like a hackjob. I think 5 cars had body damage that day. One guy ruined his exhaust kit on his 350z

I also dont think im gonna dump as much as i wanted to into performance after this. The trucks pretty quick for what it is. But, prchargers will be at the back of my mind further down the road. Needs lift n stuff first

Pulls may not usually be identical but that torque value is so far off the first run it just doesn't seem right.

It was also likely heat soaked, especially if they didn't have a fan in front of it.

Yea that pissed me right off they had a large shop fan. But the car that went on before me was rwd. So they had to back it onto the dyno trailer. Then ****** it to a stop causeing the whole trailer to shift and the truck it was attached to. Which nocked the fan off the tailgate and broke it.

$70 for 2 pulls is pretty expensive. What was up with that shift? Did they not start out in 4th gear or is it hard to lock out? 4th is 1:1 on the 6 speed and 6th is 1:1 on the 8 speed which is how you get correct numbers. So much easier with a stick...

The next closest dyno runs $200 an hour. Be good for getting more done. But with what i have im content right now. And for a small fee i get an idea of what my trucks doing. Got some more pics off other people. This one i thinks the better of the rest
