2014 regearing

Im just wondering what the problem with regearing is. I know you can buy all 3 sets of gears from mopar but what makes it so hard to regear a 2014 are the ring and pins welded in there or whats the deal

It's because the truck has the new ZF differential in the rear and the front is sized so that only up to a 3.92 will clear.

What are zf differential ive regeard many of times but ive been told you have to drill out the old gears and re tap them I dont know if its true or not
