2016 1500 Eco Diesel problem

I stopped at a red light the other day and when the light turned green, my truck revved up but wouldn't go. a notice popped up on the dash to put the truck in park which I did then back to drive and it went, the brake light flashed a few times. then the next day on the interstate, the brake light flashed and the truck hesitated like it was losing power.. I think the problem might be related to the cruise control? any similar problems? thanks
