Hello all,

I have run into a problem that I'm hoping you guys can help me figure out. I picked up my truck from the shop this morning after getting fixed. Due to being in an accident, they had to replace the rear bumper, the driver's side exhaust, and a couple other things. Now to the problem.

My truck is equipped with the reverse parkview assist camera and prior to this morning, it had the grid lines (green, yellow, red) to assist when parking. After picking my truck up from the shop I no longer have these lines. My camera shows up in the rearview mirror and just states the "check for surroundings" warning...no grid lines.

Is it possible the shop could've messed with these wires while replacing the bumper? I didn't think so since the camera is next to the tailgate handle, not the bumper. I did wash the truck this morning...is there a possibility a messed with the wires when washing the tailgate?

My apologies for the very lengthy post, just wanted to give all the info in hopes of finding the solution. THANK YOU AND CHEERS!!

Thanks for the reply, freefallin.

Unfortunately, I don't have the in-dash nav system. Is there a way to check this in the information center near the gauges??

My apologies, didn't realize you had the monitor in the rear view mirror. Perhaps it is possible to enable/disable in the evic, but I'm not sure.

I would bring the vehicle back to the certified dealer for diagnosis. DM me if you need assistance establishing an appointment. Thanks - Kevin T, Social Connect Team.
