2017 1500 Exp 4x4 3.21 to 3.92

Searched a ton, and cannot find a definitive answer. If I were to do this upgrade, does the front also need to be done?

Oh, Haill yeah it needs to be done! You'd get about 2 feet before you found the weakest link in your drivetrain. Gear oil is hard to get off the driveway lol. Seriously tho, 3.21:1 and 3.92:1 gear ratios refers to how many times the driveshaft revolves for one revolution of your tire. More revs = higher engine rpms at every speed. Both rears MUST be the same or.....BLAM! PS: I loved the 3.92s in my 1500 so much, I bought a 2500 4x4 with 4.10:1. More is always better!
