Kinda surprised my “35 inch” Toyos measured out at 33.75... Thinking I must be measuring wrong I set the procal to 34 inch as you did. Sure enough my speedo was off the other way ~2 mph... Set it to 33.75 and my speedo is now reading correctly. Not that I really care (they look and perform great) but it’s silly that a tire is more than an inch smaller than the advertised size.

That’s strange — my front was 34” exactly. Did you use something like a paint stir stick balanced across the top of the tire and then measure from that to the ground? Do you have more weight up front like an aftermarket bumper or dual alternators, dual batteries, etc.? Are yours the MTs? The non-MTs in the same size are shorter.
Tires with non-metric measurements are never “true to size” once mounted and on the vehicle. These inch-sized tires are not standardized and vary from brand to brand. Toyos are some of the tallest, with BFG being some of the smallest. A “true” 35” tire is one sold as a 37”. I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but that’s how it works.
